  • ND Logo Colour MEDNew Directions for BC’s Non-Profits Project (Partners = SPARC BC and Vancity Community Foundation, Volunteer BC) – includes a sector organization inventory and survey, community conversations around the province and support for the sector to develop a shared narrative built from the ground up.
  • Next Steps Network: convening the diverse individuals and organizations who formed from the core 50 BC-based attendees at the Imagine Canada NonProfit Summit of 2011 – following up on the four ‘themes/streams’ that emerged from the Summit and bringing them into BC’s context. artspaceactionlogowas an organization formed by a diverse group of stakeholders, allies and supporters from the cultural sector and government, funders and financiers with the intent to act as a facilitating body for the development of affordable, sustainable and suitable spaces for the development, dissemination, documentation and archiving of cultural activities. Many members went on to continue the work with an ever-shifting diversity of groups.

I enjoyed my time as Project Coordinator for a unique 3-year project contracted from the Government of Nunavut Department of Education. The Nunavut School Community Counsellor Certificate Training Program graduated a cohort of 17 Ilinniarvimmi Inuusiliriji/School Community Counsellors in February 2015.

 Human resource development issues in the creative sector were the genesis of this project, with a Labour Market Partnership study done in 2004.
